Production of automatic switch for bath ventilation fan

The ventilation fan in the bath of my home is always turning when going out of the bath. There was frequently what forgot to erase when stepping into a bath, went out to the undressing place, and turned off the switch. Moreover, there was sometimes what forgot to be put when going out of the bath. The door in the doorway of the bath was opened a little and there was often what did not forget, and opened only the door and turned the ventilation fan, too, when the ventilation fan was turned even if it said to the family.

There were both both merits and demerits, and was no switch of which it quite thought though I had used the switch for various kinds of ventilations up to now. Then, the system that liked it for myself decided to be made.

The ventilation fan in the bath is the one with a small pipe type, and the electricity bill is about 400 yen in ventilation/month always. Moreover, because the mold of the bath and the undressing place is always hardly generated when it is ventilation, you seem to be allowed hardly to clean it.

Kind of switch for ventilation fan

There are the following usages as a switch for a bath ventilation fan on the market.

• Only the switch is used usual [henki].
• A mechanical rotary timer is used. (It is variously for 30 minute - 12 hours. )
• It is marketed recently, and the electronic programmable timer of ..[henki].. switch is used. (National WN5294 etc. : for 2 or four hours.)

Then, the ventilation fan rotated when the door in the doorway of the bath was open, and the ventilation fan was made to stop when the door was closed.

There is no suitable thing to waterproof though some seem directly to be mechanical switches that enter and can cut AC100V. The turning off type crime prevention switch of the waterproof and the kit of a solid-state relay were combined and made.

The schematic diagram becomes like this, and the circuit is very easy.

Notes of production and How to use.

• Because a solid-state relay of Akizuki-denshi-tsuusyou, DC power is necessary. This used the AC adaptor for the charge with the cellular phone. It is DC5V0.55A.
• When the cooling wheel is not installed in the triac, this solid-state relay SSR can be used only up to 2A in current. There is no problem at all this time because it is a ventilation fan of 22W.
• Because the crime prevention switch of the waterproof had only the turning off type, the transistor was added to turn on [fototoraiakku] when becoming turning off.
• When the substrate is completed, the vinyl tape is wrapped around the entire substrate and it insulates it.
• The ventilation fan doesn't turn because it closes the door when stepping into a bath. The door is opened a little when going out of the bath. The ventilation fan turns, and it is possible to ventilate it efficiently if it does so. The moisture of the bath might not enter the changing room.

It is a circuit that the left added, and the right is a solid-state relay. The triac is seen on the edge in the right of a solid-state relay. The ZNR barrister of 150V is seen the left. There is [fototoraiakku] in the left.

It actually had room with the lead wire and the printed wiring board fellow was connected in this photograph though it tied in the tin plating line because it was weak in strength.

This is an outline of the entire circuit. The thing on the left is a turning off type crime prevention switch. An upper right thing is AC adaptor of 5V for the charge with the cellular phone. The electric wire of VA is soldered directly with the solid-state relay kit, and the connector for VA is installed first ..that...

This printed wiring board and the AC adaptor have been put in the wall insulating it.

Mounting conditions of water proof OFF-type security switch

It is a turning off type crime prevention switch of the waterproof. When the door opens, this circuit is turned off. The inside of this switch is encapsulated type's lead switch. The electric wire is installed beforehand, and the switch is not resoluble.
